We are all better Global Citizens because of the time we spend together! Talk about energy....wow! The Beveridge students make us laugh, surprise us with thoughtful comments, and always make us feel welcome! These guys know a lot about the world, too!!

Together we created a huge banner with doors that tell about who we are and photos of architecture that represent us and our countries!

This was the second time we visited the Beveridge school, and it was as good as the first one. I sticked a picture of a historical fort and the question gate in the long banner.
I have to mention the frying pan game that we played with the kids :)

This trip to Beveridge was amazing!! I really hat a great time, learning from the kids about their lives and their way of thinking about themselves. Learned also about what people think about Germany :D
Was challenged by playing korean games and thinking about what is behind the doors of my mind, heart and home :) It gave me again the feeling of living my life in the right way! Thanks for the great day!!

This time in Beveridge We really had fun as usual with the awesome kids.
We really had fun in those three classes that we attended in Beveridge. How the students made their doors was kind of interesting.
But Justin Bieber in the answers was not the best you can do.( seriously!!!)
I think the banner and all the countries in it was really amazing. And finishing it while having fun was the best thing to do.

Every time we meet, we share such incredible conversations, smiles, energy and stories. All of you are such a blessing to have work with Beveridge Students. The banner is now hanging in the back of my classroom with the students' posters abour architecture in UAE, Oman, Israel, Aghanistan, Iran, Lebanon, etc! Thank you for being such great partners in our Global Voices learning experiences. Thank you for helping us all walk through doors of culture with meaningful and authentic experiences. Have a great break, travels, finals...and send a postcard if you can!

I really like working with the ILUNO students because it's always a lot of fun, and we get to make create projects and pieces of art like the banner. I hope they come again soon!

The door project was a good activity. It was something to get others to know our thoughts and feelings and what we see when we walk through our own "doors."

Yesterday was really fun and exciting. It was nice knowing the type of things and thoughts behind our partners mind. I also liked the part were we had to show each other the entrances that we chose for our home. I just wish we could've had more time to do more activites and to talk some more.

I've had alot of fun with all the iluno students who were my partners. We have done many projects and gone on many field trips together. I hope I will be able to do something like this again.

The ILUNO students were very nice. My partner was very nice and respectful. He talked to me about his country and all the places he has been to.I like that he wasn't afraid to talk to me. He was a great listener when I was presenting my poster.

The activity with the ILUNO students was very fun. I got to know some of the students since I was gone for the trunk project. Even though I didn't get the guy from Colombia name, I still got to know him a little. I loved it and I hope we do this again soon. Plus now I know his name is William.

WHAT??!!! 34 comments! Love this!!! Beveridge great to hear the Beveridge voice here. UNO students will be together for our last class today.....a little sad but also a celebration of all we've done this session. It really takes the energy, friendship, openness, and knowledge of EVERY person involved in this partnership to make it happen.
What will 2013 bring for all of us? I know I'm stronger and full of anticipation for the what lies ahead because of this semester. How about you guys?

It all started with just 3 credits, but these 3 credits changed a lot. It was one of the best classes I have ever had. It was so diverse, that we not only learn English, but also learned Omaha, made something for the community, etc. I will miss this class, I will miss my classmates, I will miss you Beveridge guys, and I will miss you, Kelli. Thank you for a very meaningful and interesting time. Hope to be on touch with you and the class in the future. Thank you and Good Luck. ;-)
