An amazing day of service at the UNION! Students worked together on preparing garden beds, fences to keep rabbits out of gardens, an outdoor pizza oven, and the placement of mulch!
Brigitte set the tone for service as she explained the background of the neighborhood and the various activities that the Union is seeking to provide to help create a positive environment - the Tool Library, Art for kids, and an open door for community gatherings and projects.

i am at serves learning and we went to some places to help community, develop them on the top place.
we learned form them a lot and we got experience in our life.

It was a good opprtunity to serve an American neighborhood. I liked my role which was fencing,and I have to mention the weather was amazing and encouraged us to work harder;-)

In the union, we did did some thing to help others built the yard. I took some photos, so I saw all students' works. After took photos, I transported nutriments.It was so heavy for me, but another woman did that several times. She helped me to transport with heavy handcart. I admired her very much because she never said she was tired when she did that heavy work.

This opportunity is the best experience to me! Although my body was very hard, my mind filled my heart with pride. Working with middle school students was also funny!

That day, i made a pizza oven! first time, it is hard to work. but as time goes by, it is so funny and worthwhile to me!

I tied the wires round a wood stick outside with Derrick. it was new work for me. when i worked togther, i thought it is easier than alone. i went to go there again, Union was the best service for me. it was a little bit tired but i can't forget this service.
